We invite youth and families to be a part of our food mapping work in East Phillips. Through ongoing dialogues neighborhood food tours, and train-‐the-‐trainer workshops our Food Justice Educators are identifying the healthy food needs of our community and co-‐developing solutions with other Latino youth groups and their parents. Through Tamales y Bicicletas’ Saber Comer Justicia campaign Latino youth and their families are taking the lead in organizing the efforts of our South Minneapolis ‘hoods to create the needed food infrastructure to help our families, food systems, and mother earth thrive.
