We invite youth and families to be a part of our food mapping work in Phillips Community. Through ongoing dialogues neighborhood food tours, and train-‐the-‐trainer workshops our Food Justice Educators are identifying the healthy food needs of our community and co-‐developing solutions with other Latinx young adults and their parents. Through Tamales y Bicicletas’ Saber Comer Justicia campaign Latinx young adults and their families are taking the lead in organizing the efforts of our South Minneapolis ‘hoods to create the needed food infrastructure to help our families, food systems, and mother earth thrive.
