Browning the Green heightens the voices of youth and immigrants on environmental justice initiative. The Cultural-assets community organizing and training model to inform, involve, and and influence of Latino youth and their families in the ‘green movement.’ The Browning the Green movement believes that immigrant youth and their community will build their cultural, economic, and social capacity to advocate for positive environmental policy changes. The Browning the Green movement supports youth and their families to identify needs, barriers, and big-picture solutions found at the systemic intersections of transportation infrastructure, the green-jobs economy, immigration, and food justice.
